01

Origins and identity

SMARTY was launched in 2017 as a Three-backed SIM brand. Its dashboard and retail conditions are its own. Being carried by Three does not make every SMARTY line equivalent to a Three-branded agreement.

02

Features to interpret

Group controls and particular data features have defined eligibility. Review the active line rather than borrowing an inclusion from another category. The account dashboard is useful for renewal and usage details.

03

SIM-only, phones and monthly terms

A SIM subscription should be read independently of the phone used with it. A handset obtained elsewhere keeps its own repayment and return conditions. Find the recurrence and cancellation rules for the selected SIM category.

04

PAYG and the renewal method

A renewable allowance is not automatically a traditional stored-credit PAYG product. Read how the next period is funded and when add-ons expire instead of assuming unused payment becomes transferable credit.

05

eSIM, physical SIM and setup

SMARTY supports eSIM. Existing members can request a swap from their dashboard. Activation information and a separate confirmation code must be kept secure through the setup process.

06

Where the bill needs attention

On SMARTY, compare the official statement with the documents held for the line. Separate service dates, airtime, any device repayment and additional subscriptions. If an item is unfamiliar, identify the usage category and ask the provider for evidence rather than changing payment arrangements first. Keep the reference and written explanation. We cannot see or amend that account.

07

Keep a number with a PAC

A number move from SMARTY is different from a replacement SIM or an internal category change. Use the provider’s official PAC process or text PAC to 65075 from a single line. Review the returned information about the commitment, then submit a valid code to the receiving provider. Retain access to the two SIMs during the move. Do not treat obtaining a code alone as completed cancellation.

08

Coverage and interrupted service

Check SMARTY coverage and live service status for the specific location. Three host network describes infrastructure context, not guaranteed reception inside a room. Inspect handset support for current calling services and note the time, place and affected function. Restart and settings checks are useful first steps; persistent faults require authorised technical investigation.

09

Roaming and international activity

Check the specific roaming allowance and destination conditions. Permitted domestic tethering or a large UK data amount cannot establish identical use abroad.

10

Home connectivity and other devices

For a router, confirm supported equipment and permitted use. Household reception and performance are practical questions beyond whether the SIM physically fits.

11

Account tools and future changes

Use SMARTY dashboard through the provider’s genuine link. Keep a copy of the current summary and notices about renewal or scheduled adjustments. When changing or ending service, ask what remains active, whether a term restarts and whether a separate device balance continues. Preserve authentication access while any account action is underway.

12

A useful decision checklist

For SMARTY, ask four concrete questions: does the device support the service, does the allowance match normal use, do the commitment dates suit the situation, and do travel or shared-device rules cover the intended activity? Record answers with the date. Confirm current eligibility directly before acting. We provide education without product sales, contract arrangement or referral commission.
